Latha Ganti, MD, MS, MBA, FACEP is the recipient of the Council of Emergency Medicine Residency Directors (CORD) and Clerkship Directors in Emergency Medicine (CDEM) Distinguished Educator Awards. She serves on the board of directors for the Florida College of Emergency Physicians where she chairs the editorial and publications committee.
In addition to her board certification in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Ganti is also fellowship-trained in Vascular Neurology. She is a graduate of the American Academy of Neurology’s Women’s Leaders in Neurology Program, a recipient of the AAN’s AB Baker Teaching Award, a member of AAN’s education committee, and an editorial board member of AAN’s Brain and Life magazine.
Dr. Ganti has published extensively in the field of neurologic emergencies, with high impact. Her Google Scholar citations reveal an H index of 35, with more than 5600 citations to her work and over 330 indexed papers. To put this in perspective, the median H index for Professors of Emergency Medicine is 11, with a median of 23 papers.
